Rob kicks us off this week with Hall of famer Olivier Ruel taking down a GP in Bologna way back in 2005
The meat of today’s discussion is inspired by former guest of the show David Calf, and his unfortunate ID into 9th place at a GP this past weekend. He based that decision off false information he thought he’d received, which opens up an interesting question: To what extent should you base match decisions on others around you? How ok is it to ask? And what are people obliged to tell (or not tell) you?
There’s also an interesting question around team tournaments, and gaining information from the tables around you – it only applies to unified constructed, but that’s a pretty hot topic right now.
